Ybor City Crash Video Released: Driver Seen Moments After Deadly Tampa Wreck

Tampa, Fla. (July 06, 2026) – Newly released video from the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office shows the moments after the driver accused in a fatal Ybor City crash allegedly drove into a crowd outside a bar, killing four people and injuring 20 others.

Authorities said the video captures Silas Sampson reacting after learning that four people had died in the November crash outside Bradley’s on 7th in Ybor City. According to prosecutors, the footage shows Sampson expressing concern about potential jail time and being handcuffed while displaying little apparent concern for the victims.

Prosecutors said Sampson is facing 59 criminal charges, including vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence (DUI), in connection with the deadly crash that left four people dead and approximately 20 others injured.

The criminal case remains pending as the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office continues its prosecution.
