Orlando, FL (June 10, 2026) – A fatal rollover crash in Orlando claimed the lives of two teenagers following a single-vehicle accident that occurred on February 6, 2011, on Interstate 4 near Lake Mary, authorities reported.
According to investigators, a 17-year-old driver was traveling eastbound when the vehicle suddenly lost control. The vehicle reportedly swerved to the right before overturning along the roadway. The exact cause of the loss of control remains under investigation; however, officials noted that alcoholic beverages were discovered inside the vehicle among the crash debris.
The crash resulted in the deaths of the driver and a 19-year-old passenger. Authorities confirmed the two individuals were in a relationship at the time of the incident. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the rollover.
Four additional passengers—identified as teenagers and young adults—were also reportedly unrestrained during the crash. One passenger sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision.
Officials continue to emphasize the dangers of impaired driving and seatbelt non-use as contributing factors in severe rollover crashes.
