Davenport, Fla. (July 05, 2026) – An SUV crash involving two vehicles, including a Davenport Police Department squad car, occurred Sunday afternoon after the driver allegedly ran a stop sign, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the SUV failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck two vehicles, one of which was a Davenport police squad car. Troopers responded to the scene and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
