SUV Crashes Into Carrollwood Restaurant Near Tampa, Narrowly Missing Customers
Schedule a Free ConsultationCarrollwood, Florida (July 21, 2026) – An SUV crashed into a restaurant in Carrollwood on Tuesday afternoon, narrowly missing workers and customers inside, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. at the Village Center Shopping Plaza, located at 13134 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Authorities said a white 2013 Ford Expedition crashed through the restaurant after the driver reportedly attempted to avoid another vehicle in the shopping plaza.
Witnesses said the SUV narrowly missed employees and customers inside the business. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assess the damage and ensure the safety of those involved. No serious injuries were immediately reported.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
