Pinellas Park, Fla. (July 15, 2026) – One person was found dead Sunday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a pond near Bryan Dairy Road and Belcher Road in Pinellas Park, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said emergency crews responded to the scene after reports of a vehicle in the water. Authorities located a pickup truck submerged in the pond and recovered it during the response.
Investigators said one person was found deceased inside or in connection with the vehicle. The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending identification and notification of next of kin.
The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been disclosed, and the cause of the incident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
