Man Killed in Davenport, FL Crash on U.S. Highway 17/92 Near Sunny Acres Road
Schedule a Free ConsultationDavenport, Fla. (June 28, 2026) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 17/92 and Sunny Acres Road in Davenport, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the collision occurred just before 2:30 p.m. on June 13. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where one man was pronounced dead as a result of the crash.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said its Traffic Homicide Investigations Unit is leading the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. Officials have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
