Orange County, Fla. (July 14, 2026) – Four people were killed and one person was seriously injured in an overnight two-vehicle crash on Central Florida Parkway in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred when the driver of a BMW attempted to overtake a car by changing lanes. As the BMW merged back into the outside lane, it collided with the front left side of the Camry, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.
Investigators said the Toyota struck a light pole before crashing into multiple trees. A rear-seat passenger in the Camry was ejected during the collision. The BMW also struck several trees after leaving the roadway.
Authorities said all occupants of the BMW were pronounced dead at the scene. Two of the three occupants inside the Toyota Camry also died from their injuries. The driver of the Toyota sustained serious injuries and was transported to Dr. Phillips Hospital for treatment.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash.
