According to authorities, the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of John Young Parkway and Oak Ridge Road. Investigators said a pedestrian was struck and killed at the scene, and the driver or drivers involved fled before law enforcement arrived.
Troopers have not released further details about the victim or the suspect vehicles but confirmed that multiple vehicles are now being examined as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities continue to search for leads and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
