2 Killed in Rollover Crash on State Road 417 Near Orlando, Florida Highway Patrol Says
Schedule a Free ConsultationOrlando, Fla. (July 17, 2026) – Two adults were killed and another adult was seriously injured after a rollover crash involving an SUV on State Road 417 near Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred Saturday when the SUV was traveling northbound on the expressway and, for unknown reasons, drifted onto the shoulder of the roadway.
Investigators said the SUV struck a pole before overturning. Three adults and three children were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover crash.
The driver, a man, and a female passenger were pronounced dead. Another woman suffered serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
The condition of the children was not immediately released.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
