Driver Dies After Vehicle Enters Lake at Lake Rianhard Orlando

Orlando, FL (June 09, 2026) – A 71-year-old man from Pittsburgh died after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a lake near Orlando on Tuesday, June 8, authorities reported.

The crash occurred near The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection at Lake Rianhard in the Celebration area of Osceola County just after 3:30 p.m., according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

First responders arrived at the scene to assist emergency efforts following the crash. Despite response efforts, the driver was pronounced dead as a result of the incident.
