Fatal Vehicle Crash Into Lake Near Orlando Hotel Claims One Life

Orlando, FL (June 03, 2025) – A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred near a hotel property in Celebration on Wednesday, April 16, after a vehicle left the roadway and entered a nearby lake.

According to authorities, the incident took place near a lodging facility in the Celebration area. Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle traveled off the road for reasons that remain under investigation before becoming submerged in the water.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and recovered the vehicle from the lake. The driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No additional occupants were reported to be involved in the crash.
