2 Killed, Child Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on Poinciana Boulevard in Kissimmee

Kissimmee, Florida (July 22, 2026) – Two people were killed and two others, including a 6-year-old girl, were seriously injured in a head-on crash Monday afternoon in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on South Poinciana Boulevard near Reaves Road. Investigators said a 21-year-old Kissimmee man was driving southbound on South Poinciana Boulevard when his vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with another vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found multiple occupants injured. The driver of the first vehicle was ejected into the back seat and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 6-year-old girl who was seated in the back was seriously injured and transported to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, where she was listed in stable condition.

A front-seat passenger in the first vehicle was also ejected during the crash and later died at Osceola Regional Medical Center. Authorities were still working to identify the passenger. The Florida Highway Patrol said occupants of the first vehicle were not wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 33-year-old Kissimmee man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
