Deltona, Fla. (July 04, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Deltona, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said deputies responded around noon Sunday to the area of 1190 Saxon Boulevard near Dewey Boster Park following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle. The rider, a 63-year-old Deltona man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the crash involved a 2002 motorcycle and a 2011 car. Preliminary findings indicate the Tahoe was turning left into Dewey Boster Park when the motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction collided with the vehicle, ejecting the rider.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officials said there were no immediate signs of impairment, and the crash investigation remains ongoing.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the fatal motorcycle crash.
