Tampa, Fla. (July 02, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash turned deadly Thursday morning on North Florida Avenue in Tampa after a vehicle attempting to enter a business was struck and overturned, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Authorities said officers responded shortly after 7:00 a.m. to the 11600 block of North Florida Avenue following reports of a major two-car collision. Preliminary information indicates one of the vehicles was attempting to enter a business when it was struck by another vehicle, causing it to overturn.
Police confirmed the crash resulted in a fatality but did not immediately release the identity of the victim or additional details regarding the circumstances of the collision.
The Tampa Police Department continues to investigate the deadly crash.
