Woman Killed, Man Injured in Davenport, FL BMW Crash on Home Run Boulevard
Schedule a Free ConsultationDavenport, Fla. (June 27, 2026) – A 28-year-old woman was killed and a 26-year-old man was injured early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Davenport, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash occurred around 2:34 a.m. when a BMW traveling westbound on Home Run Boulevard approached a curve near the intersection with Westview Road. Investigators said the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and strike a power pole.
Authorities confirmed that the 28-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The 26-year-old male driver sustained injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
Officials have not released the identities of those involved, pending notification of next of kin.
